Take the submarines. These dolphin class submarines that Germany is providing to Israel are instantly refitted in Israel to have nuclear weapons capacity, and that\u2019s not aimed at defense of Israel. Nuclear armed submarines don\u2019t defend Israel. They are meant for attack, that\u2019s what they are. And we know what attack they\u2019re aimed for<\/span><\/span><span style=\"font-family: Times New Roman,serif;\"><span lang=\"en-US\"> in the short run:<\/span><\/span><span style=\"font-family: Times New Roman,serif;\"><span lang=\"en-US\"> an attack on Iran<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>Prof. Chomsky on the causes of the refugee crisis:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p><span style=\"font-family: Times New Roman,serif;\"><span lang=\"en-US\">One of them is the US &amp; British Invasion of Iraq which hit the country like a sledgehammer &#8211; horrible effects in the country &#8211; killed hundreds of thousands of people destroyed much of the country and <\/span><\/span><span style=\"font-family: Times New Roman,serif;\"><span lang=\"en-US\">among<\/span><\/span><span style=\"font-family: Times New Roman,serif;\"><span lang=\"en-US\"> other things set-off\/incited a sectarian conflict which had not existed before, and that sectarian was exacerbated by the torture and terror and other atrocities, but that crisis is now tearing Iraq to shreds and is tearing the region to shreds &#8211; expanded to Syria and elsewhere. As a non-profit &amp; volunteer based organization, this format provides us with sufficient time to coordinate our schedules\u00a0outside of our occupational commitments and\u00a0translate the content into multiple languages, subtitle &amp; voice-synchronize it for people with hearing &amp; visual impairment.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Projects that depend on your donations:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>acTVism Munic has attained permission from the University of Arizona to translate into multiple languages an event that hosted Edward Snowden, Glenn Greenwald and Noam Chomsky in which they discussed the meaning and significance of privacy. This <a href=\"https:\/\/web.sbs.arizona.edu\/privacy\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">event took place on the 25th of March, 2016, and was organized by the University of Arizona College of Social and Behavioral Sciences<\/a>. On the 23rd of April, 2016, acTVism Munich hopes to travel to Hannover to provide a voice to <a href=\"https:\/\/ttip-demo.de\/home\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">grassroots demonstrations taking place<\/a> around the Hannover Exhibition which <a href=\"https:\/\/www.swissinfo.ch\/eng\/reuters\/obama-to-meet-merkel--attend-hannover-trade-show-in-april\/41868310\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">will be attended by US President Barack Obama and German Chancellor Angela Merkel<\/a>. These demonstrations are taking a stand against the <a href=\"https:\/\/wikileaks.org\/pledge\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Transatlantic Trade and Investment Partnership<\/a>, also known as TTIP, that Obama and Merkel plan to promote in this exhibition. Lastly, we are attempting to mobilize our volunteers in New York to record <a href=\"https:\/\/yanisvaroufakis.eu\/2016\/03\/08\/yanis-varoufakis-noam-chomsky-nypl-26-april\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">an event organized by the New York Public Libary (NYPL)<\/a> that is hosting Yanis Varoufakis and Noam Chomsky. This event will take place on the 26th of April, 2016, and will discuss the state of democracy in Europe as well as the economic and social problems confronting it.
