acTVism Munich e.V. is an independent, non-profit and bilingual online media organization based in Munich, Germany.
We inform the public about issues of societal importance through interviews, reports, documentaries, on-the-ground reporting, panel discussions and podcasts. A central part of our work is translating and publishing international journalistic content for German-speaking audiences.
Our platform features investigative journalists, academics, analysts, scientists, artists, whistleblowers, former government officials, diplomats, authors, affected individuals and other experts from around the world.
Our goal is to make comprehensive information freely accessible and to present perspectives that, in our view, are often absent or underrepresented in public discourse.
Our work is dedicated to promoting democratic participation, civic education and an informed public. It is guided by the charitable objectives set out in our statutes.

The Source is our original interview series. Through in-depth conversations, we interview investigative journalists, academics, scientists, former government officials, diplomats, whistleblowers, artists, authors, analysts and other experts on current political and social developments. The interviews are researched, prepared and produced by the editorial team at acTVism Munich and are primarily hosted by our Editor-in-Chief, Zain Raza.
Import makes important international journalism accessible to German-speaking audiences. We translate and publish selected interviews, lectures, documentaries and analyses produced by international journalists, authors, academics and experts. Whenever possible, we identify the original author and source. The views expressed by contributors or interviewees do not necessarily reflect the editorial position of acTVism Munich.
Hotspot features on-the-ground reporting, documentaries and field reports covering political, social and humanitarian developments from around the world. Depending on the production, reports are produced either by acTVism Munich or by trusted international journalistic partners.
Our editorial decisions are made independently of political parties, governments, corporations and other external interests.

acTVism Munich is primarily funded through individual donations, supporting members and grants from independent foundations. As a registered non-profit organization, all funds are used exclusively to pursue our charitable mission and statutory objectives.
