REPORT FROM IRAN: The Reality of War Is Not What You Think

23. March 2026

In his first report from Iran during the ongoing war, human rights lawyer and journalist Dimitri Lascaris shares his observations from Tabriz — but what he encounters challenges common expectations: no visible fighting, no panic, but a sense of normalcy that raises important questions. How is this possible in the middle of a war? And what does it reveal about how this conflict is perceived?

This video was produced by Reason2Resist and published on their YouTube channel on the 20th of March, 2026.

This report reflects the observations, assessments, and statements of Dimitri Lascaris on the ground in Iran. Some claims could not be independently verified and represent the perspective of the author.
