REPORT FROM IRAN: Israel Drops Mines on Village – Dead and Mutilated

30. March 2026

Israeli airstrikes covered a village near Shiraz in Iran with mines overnight, many of which remain active and could explode at any moment. In Jamal Abad, residents describe deadly blasts, mutilated bodies, and a threat that can be triggered by movement or even mobile phones.

When investigative journalist Dimitri Lascaris visits the village, the scale becomes clear: mines scattered between homes, some detonated, others still waiting. The report shows what happened and why the danger is far from over.
