The conversation also explores how Western media and governments frame Iran’s actions and the broader geopolitical struggle between Western powers and independent nations.

He was a member of the shadow cabinets of the Green Parties of Canada and Quebec. In 2020, he ran for the leadership of the Green Party of Canada and came in second. He is also the founder and editor of the YouTube channel Reasons 2 Resists with Dimitri Lascaris.

Hamed Ghashghavi is an Iranian researcher, biographer, and interpreter based in Tehran. As former Secretary for International Affairs of the New Horizon organization, he was sanctioned by the U.S. government in 2019, becoming the youngest Iranian ever placed under U.S. sanctions.
