In this interview with the national co-director of the antiwar organization CODEPINK, Ariel Gold, we discuss the U.S. assassination of Iran’s top general Qasem Soleimani. Furthermore we contextualize the current crisis by examining U.S. involvement in Iranian politics since World War 2 up until the current period. Lastly we discuss the role of activism and what individuals could do in order to prevent another major war from breaking out.
