As the new Gaza flotilla heads toward the Israeli blockade, concerns are growing over another escalation at sea after activists were recently detained near Crete.

Dimitri Lascaris is a journalist and lawyer. As a lawyer, he specializes in class action litigation, international law and human rights. He was a member of the shadow cabinets of the Green Parties of Canada and Quebec. In 2020, he ran for the leadership of the Green Party of Canada and came in second. He is also the founder and editor of the YouTube channel Reasons 2 Resists with Dimitri Lascaris.

ABOUT EHAB LOTAYEF

Ehab Lotayef is a Canadian human rights activist, author and engineer of Egyptian origin based in Montreal. He has long been involved in human rights and international solidarity work and is a longtime organizer of the Freedom Flotilla to Gaza.
