FROM IRAN: Cafés, Schools, Homes – Everything Around the Target Destroyed

In this report from Iran, investigative journalist and human rights lawyer Dimitri Lascaris visits the area around Niloofar Square in Tehran following an attack that was said to target a police station. Walking through the neighborhood, he documents damage that extends well beyond the intended site. Cafés, residential buildings, a bakery, and schools in close proximity all show signs of destruction. Through conversations with residents and business owners, including a baker whose shop and home were affected, the report reveals how the impact of the attack reaches deep into everyday civilian life.
