Israel Threatens Western Governments, Demands Censorship After Bondi Beach Shooting

19. December 2025

In this video, Pulitzer Prize–winning journalist Glenn Greenwald examines a troubling development: how Israeli officials have issued explicit warnings and demands to Western governments, cautioning them about consequences if stronger measures are not taken to protect Jewish communities and to curb criticism of Israel.

Greenwald argues that this pressure has led to a disproportionate influence of the Israel lobby in Western democracies, resulting in the growing criminalization of protests against Israel and raising serious concerns about the erosion of free speech.
