Abby Martin is an American journalist and filmmaker known for her investigative work on US foreign policy and media criticism. She hosted “Breaking the Set” on RT America (2012–2015) and later created “The Empire Files,” a documentary series examining US imperialism. In 2019, she directed “Gaza Fights for Freedom,” a film about the Palestinian resistance. Martin is the founder of Media Roots and a member of the board of directors of Project Censored.

ABOUT JEREMY SCAHILL

Jeremy Scahill is an American investigative journalist and author best known for his reporting on war, surveillance, and private military contractors. He is the author of the best-selling books Blackwater (2007) and Dirty Wars (2013), the latter of which was adapted into an Oscar-nominated documentary film. Scahill co-founded The Intercept and launched Drop Site News in 2024, a nonprofit newsroom focused on national security reporting.
