In this interview, our founder and supporting editor, Zain Raza, speaks with historian Prof. Peter Kuznick about the hidden geopolitical context behind today’s major flashpoints — from Ukraine and Europe’s militarisation to U.S. pressure on Venezuela and rising tensions in the Indo-Pacific involving Japan, China, and Taiwan.
The conversation explores recent diplomatic efforts, military escalations, and the historical and strategic dynamics that are often missing from mainstream media coverage — offering a broader perspective on how these seemingly separate crises are deeply connected.
