IRAN: Western Media Stay Silent – The Minab Massacre

2. April 2026

In this report, investigative journalist and human rights lawyer Dimitri Lascaris travels to Minab in Iran, where he speaks with families who lost loved ones in an attack on a girls’ school and a nearby residential area, 168 people were killed and 95 injured, most of them children.

As he visits burial sites and listens to survivors, a central question emerges: Why have no Western journalists, US officials, or international organizations come to speak with these families and why does their suffering continue to be ignored?
