In this video, human rights lawyer and journalist Dimitri Lascaris reports on a deepening water crisis in Israel after nearly all of the country’s seawater desalination plants were temporarily shut down. What role are the consequences of the destruction of Gaza’s water and sewage infrastructure playing – and why could this development prove far more serious for Israel than has been publicly acknowledged?

Lascaris also examines Iran’s new, more offensive military strategy, the unusually muted U.S. response, and the escalation in Yemen, where fighting around a strategically important port region could further intensify pressure on one of the world’s most important shipping routes.
