Recently, a limited selection of photos linked to Jeffrey Epstein was released by the US House Oversight Committee. While presented as a step toward transparency, the release raises deeper concerns about what remains hidden. Tens of thousands of images were reportedly reviewed, yet only a small fraction was made public, with key details obscured through redactions and selective disclosure.
In this video, investigative journalist and human rights lawyer Dimitri Lascaris examines the timing, scope, and patterns of this release. He argues that the publication creates the appearance of accountability while shielding more consequential material from public scrutiny, and explains why both major political parties may have an interest in controlling what is revealed — and what is not — as the legal deadline for full disclosure approaches.
