In this video, Pulitzer Prize-winning journalist Glenn Greenwald interviews independent journalist Richard Medhurst about the legal threats he faces in the UK and Austria. Medhurst, known for his critical reporting on Israel and Gaza, was arrested at Heathrow Airport under anti-terrorism laws and is under investigation for alleged support of terrorism which he vehemently denies. Greenwald highlights the chilling effect such prosecutions have on press freedom and the broader trend of equating criticism of Israel with support for terrorism.

This video was produced by System Update and published on their YouTube channel on the 24th of April, 2025.
