In this week’s editorial pick, we select Naomi Klein’s key note speech at the Progressive International Summit of 2020 that took place on 19th of September, 2020.

In her online keynote for the Summit 2020, Naomi Klein speaks about the “progressive” and “international” aspects of the Progressive International. She looks at our dire present and emphasises the need for “years of repair”, in which we must return to solidarity and care for the people and the world around us. She describes the Green New Deal as a framework for survival, repair and care for the environment.
