How close are we to a war with Iran?  | Interview with a Former Insider & Retired Army Colonel

In this interview we talk to a retired U.S. Army Colonel (31 years) and the former Chief of Staff to Secretary of State Colin Powell (2002-2005), Prof. Lawrence Wilkerson, about the recent situation in Iran. We begin the discussion by providing context on U.S.-Iran relations post World War II, the military industrial complex and the forces that are influencing the Trump administration to go to war with Iran. In addition we analyse the effects that U.S. sanctions are having on Iran and examine the possible consequences of a U.S. attack on Iran. Finally we talk about the role of the anti-war movement during this period and whether it could prevent a war with Iran.
